🔺 Clean Sweep. Lobo baseball completed a four-game season sweep of in-state rival New Mexico State with a 7-6 win last night. The win marks the Lobos’ first perfect season series against the Aggies since 2022. It was also New Mexico’s 200th win at Santa Ana Star Field! The Lobos will host San Jose State in a Mountain West series starting Friday.

🔺 Earned It. Lobo senior Carson Herron was named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week! He tied for first at the ASU Thunderbird Collegiate, where he finished runner-up in a playoff. He helped lead the Lobos to a fourth-place finish against a strong field.

🔺 Going For More. The postseason begins for both tennis teams today! The men’s team will play at UNLV in the Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals at 6 p.m. The women’s team will take on Air Force this morning at 11 a.m.

🔺 Fell Short. Lobo softball tied the game in the fourth inning, but it wasn’t enough offense as they fell 7-3 to UTEP. Sydney Carithers hit a home run before an Ashley Archuleta triple, but the Miners responded with four runs in the fifth inning to win. The Lobos will play the final home series of the season this weekend when they host Nevada.
