🔺 International Lobo. Lobo women’s basketball has signed Leonor Peixinho, a 6’1 forward from Lagoa, Portugal. She has spent the last two seasons playing with SL Benfica in Portugal. Her team competed in the 2025 EuroCup and won the Senior Championship.
“We have an amazing group of kids from all over the world, and I love the diversity, energy, and culture they bring every day. A long, versatile young talent like Leonor only adds to that. I’m excited about her potential and chant wait to be a part of her development both on and off the court.”
🔺 Guest List. Lobo softball pitcher McKenna Guest had a season to remember, and it was only her sophomore year. She finished the season with 139 strikeouts, the 10th most in a single season in program history. She led the Mountain West in strikeouts looking and was second in strikeouts. She also recorded the lowest ERA by a Lobo since 2005 with a 3.15. The best part? There’s plenty more to come in her Lobo career.
