🔺 Break Out The Brooms. Lobo baseball swept San Diego State on the road! They started things off with a thriller on Friday, producing a five-run rally in the top of the ninth to push the game into extra innings. Will Asby hit the game-winning two-RBI single in the 10th inning to secure the 9-7 victory. They turned around to win 9-8 on Saturday to secure the series win. The success continued on Sunday as they completed the sweep with a 15-7 win. The Lobos rallied from a four-run deficit and finished the game with 19 hits. They move into a three-way tie for first place in the Mountain West.

🔺 Meet The Newcomers. Lobo men’s basketball announced the addition of two transfers to the 2025-26 roster! JT Rock transfers to New Mexico from Iowa State. The 7’1 center appeared in nine games last season. Guard Luke Haupt transfers from Point Loma Nazarene as a two-time NABC All-West District honoree.

🔺 Closing This Chapter. The men’s tennis team’s historic season ended with a 4-0 loss to the No. 4 overall seed Stanford in the NCAA Tournament. Despite a strong performance, including a close doubles point, the Lobos were unable to overcome Stanford’s quick wins in singles.

🔺 That’s A Wrap. The Lobos went 1-2 at UNLV over the weekend to close out the 2025 season. They finish the season 21-30-1 overall, parting ways with graduates Ashley Archuleta, Emma Bramson, and Sydney Carithers. The Lobos improved their record from the season before by six wins.
