Chris Howell is the younger brother of Lobo assistant coach Mikey Howell. He was named the 2024-25 Big West Best Hustle Player by the leagues coaches after ranking 15th nationally in steals with 76. Vicentic suffered a season-ending injury in last year’s season-opener. He scored 1,226 career points at Division II McKendree.

🔺 On The Rise. The Mountain West Connection calls New Mexico Athletics a “rising powerhouse in the Mountain West!” Eric Olen takes over as the new men’s basketball coach, while Jason Eck leads the football program’s rebuilding efforts, bringing a proven track record of success. Additionally, Lobo baseball is currently tied for first in the Mountain West, while men’s golf is NCAA Regional bound.
