🔺 Season’s Greetings. Lobo soccer kicked off the 2024-25 athletics season yesterday! They fell at New Mexico State, 3-1. Natalie DeGagne scored her eighth career goal with Alysa Whelchel recording her first career assist and Sophia Roberts earning her third. The Lobos outshot the Aggies 8-6 behind three from DeGagne and two from Kennedy Brown. They’ll begin a five-match homestand on Thursday when they host UC Riverside.

🔺 Thank You, Eddie. New Mexico Athletic Director & Vice President Eddie Nuñez has accepted a role at the University of Houston as Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics. In his seven years at New Mexico, he has seen a National Championship in Cross Country, 53 NCAA Tournament appearances, and 22 Mountain West titles. His time included the construction of the New Mexico Mutual Champions Training Center, plus the hires of Richard Pitino and Bronco Mendenhall. Congratulations and thank you, Eddie Nuñez!
