🔺 That’s Our Guy. For the third-straight year, Lobo football’s Aaron Rodriguez has been named to the Ray Guy Preseason Watch List! The Ray Guy Award goes to the nation’s top collegiate punter in the FBS. He has a shot at breaking multiple New Mexico career punting records this season. Last season, he averaged 42.4 yards per punt with 17 inside the 20 and just one touchback.

🔺 Flying Through. Lobo track & field alum Josh Kerr is headed to the Olympic men’s 1500m final for the second time in his career! He finished second in his semifinal heat yesterday with a 3:32.46 time. The final will be tomorrow at 12:50 p.m.

🔺 Something New. Before football season gets started, the Lobos needed an upgrade. They now have four fully functional practice fields! The Indoor Practice Facility received a new turf surface that matches the field at University Stadium. The outdoor fields have been resodded and leveled. These upgrades will help prevent injuries.
