🔺 Howling Homecoming. Homecoming is here! Lobo football hosts Fresno State tomorrow at 6:35 p.m. for the conference opener. Come early to enjoy all the fun in the Howl Zone, including low riders, plus get a Cherry On Top Balloon bobblehead. The actual balloon will be tethered in the parking lot. There will be a fourth-quarter light show synched to the Lobo App and postgame fireworks. Robin Cole will be inducted into the Ring of Honor and the 1964 WAC Championship team will be honored.

🔺 The North Remembers. Lobo volleyball broke out the brooms to sweep New Mexico State off their own court! They proved for the second time this week who runs the state. The Lobos are 7-3 going into Mountain West play.

🔺 On The Court. The Lobo tennis teams had a successful week! Allison Romero picked up a title at the Bedford Cup in the Mountains Tournament. She won her round-robin pod in the Echo Draw and then won the title match. On the men’s side, Avery Tallakson finished second in the Delta Draw to highlight the weekend at Arizona.

🔺 We’re Hosting. The men’s golf team is hosting the 69th William H. Tucker Intercollegiate this weekend! The first two rounds will be played today, beginning with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start. The final round will begin at 7:45 a.m. tomorrow. The Lobos will host 17 schools, nine of which competed in last year’s NCAA Regionals. The Lobo lineup features Mesa Falleur, Alvaro Portillo, Carson Herron, Wyatt Provence, and Oliver Cage. David Davila, Luis Buech, Clark Sonnenberg, Valentin Luna, and Connor Adams will compete as individuals.

🎙 THE LOBO POD

Head men's basketball coach Richard Pitino is this week's guest on The Lobo Pod! Coach Pitino talks about the aggressive non-conference schedule, the importance of NIL, and his thoughts on conference realignment.
