🔺 Our State. Lobo fans were the it factor in last night’s volleyball match against New Mexico State! There were more than 1,300 rowdy Lobo fans in the crowd for the 3-1 win. The Lobos held the Aggies to a .188 hitting percentage. Falanika Danielson led the team with a season-high 26 digs, while Kialah Jefferson and Madeleine Miller earned double-doubles. The teams will meet again on Thursday, this time in Las Cruces.

🔺 Cole’s World. Former Lobo football star Robin Cole will be inducted into the Ring of Honor on Saturday! He’ll become the seventh player to have his name permanently displayed at University Stadium. Although he played from 1973-76, he still ranks in the career top 10 in tackles for loss and is one of six players with over 400 tackles. He is the only defensive lineman on that list. He ranks second in career sacks and his 17 in a 10-game season still holds the Lobo single-season record.

He spent 11 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers as their first-round draft pick.
