🔺 We’re Moving. Not venues, just times! Lobo Talk is moving back an hour and will now air from 7-8 p.m. at Sandia Resort & Casino. There was no Lobo Talk this week with football’s bye, but come watch the show live next Tuesday! Check out the remaining schedule above.

🔺 Beaming In Bronze. One Lobo women’s track & field runner is bringing home a medal! Rebecca Grieve helped Great Britain to a bronze medal in the 4×400m relay at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru. Team GB finished the race with a 3:32.80 time.

🔺 Welcome, Coach. The men’s tennis team has announced the addition of Nicholas “Nico” Acevedo as an assistant coach! He joins the Lobo coaching staff after a remarkable college playing career at FAU and Wichita State. He was ranked No. 32 nationally in doubles his senior year at FAU.

🔺 Distance Dominance. Speaking of new assistants, Lobo cross country and track & field has added Jenna Schwartz as the assistant coach for distance. She spent four years as a student-athlete at Missouri, ranking No. 4 in program history in the Indoor 5000m, No. 6 in the Outdoor 10,000m, and No. 9 in the Outdoor 5,000m. The Lobo distance squads have high expectations after a successful year.
