🔼 That’s a Dub! The football team opened its season with a 38-7 victory over Central Michigan. James Laubstein had two rushing touchdowns and Scottre Humphrey had one. Bailen George had an 11-yard reception for a touchdown. Quarterback Luke Moga had 116 yards on 13 completions and one touchdown. Toa Fa’avae had 43 yards on four completions.

🔼 Title Earned! The men’s golf team wrapped up play at the Pan Pacific University Golf Super League. The Lobos finished in second place with a score of 824 (-28). Johnnie Clark finished first individually and took home the individual title. Clark finished with a score of 202 (-11). This marked his second career collegiate win. Thayer Plewe finished tied for 6th at 8-under par.

🔼 Road Dub. The women’s soccer team beat Northern Colorado 4-2 on Sunday. The Presley Devey led the team with two goals. Savanah Sanchez scored her first goal of the season. Angelina Moschetti provided the game-winning goal. The Lobos outshot UNC 16-4 in the second half. UNM is now 3-2-0 this season.

🔼 Weekend in Colorado. The volleyball team started its weekend with a 3-1 win over Northern Colorado on Friday. This also marked head coach Brian Hosfeld’s first win as a Lobo. Addison France led the team with a double-double of 16 kills and 11 digs. Reagan Miller added a career-high 15 kills. The Lobos then faced No. 23 Colorado on Saturday and fell 3-2. Mina Stanojevic led the team with a double-double of 16 kills and 12 digs.

🔼 Season Opener. The women’s cross country team opened the 2026 season with three runners at the Lobo Invitational. Newcomer Noel Barlette finished first in the collegiate women’s 5k. She timed in at 18:13.98. Anya Belisle took third and Kylie Feeney followed in fourth.
