📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Entering The Circle. New Mexico softball just signed Emily Brouse as the newest addition in the circle. The pitcher spent last season at Odessa College and her first season at Iowa Western Community College. She has 230 innings pitched and 316 career strikeouts. She finished her last season with a nice 1.90 ERA. She’s the second pitcher that the Lobos have signed during the offseason, and we’re excited to have her.

🔼 Tee Time. The Lobos are being represented at the Southwestern Amateur golf tournament by Adam Miller and Brandon Shong. Adam is an incoming freshman who won multiple State Championships and was named All-American. Brandon made an appearance at the NCAA Championship this season. The Southwestern Amateur started yesterday and cuts will be made after today’s round.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Lobos In The Open. We told you earlier this week that rising senior Bastien Amat will be teeing off in the U.S. Open. He’s the first current Lobo to play in the tournament since Spencer Levin in 2004. Also representing New Mexico is Lobo alumnus Victor Perez. This is Victor’s fourth straight appearance at the Open. The tournament tees off today and runs through Sunday.
