Lobos Brew 6/13: Looking Back

Today, we're looking back on past accomplishments while looking forward to football.

Good morning! Have you ever wondered which Lobo logo fits you best? Head on over to Twitter to see which one you are!

What are we throwing into today’s Brew?

🏈 Throwback Tuesday
🏕 Let’s Camp
🐺 And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Stunner In Boise. There are 81 days until football season, so we’re throwing it back to 2015 when the Lobos upset Boise State on their own blue turf. Boise State had tied the game, until Austin Apodoca hit Delane Hart-Johnson on an 81-yard pass in a 2nd-and-long situation. The reception put the Lobos on the 1-yard line where they immediately scored, going ahead 24-17. The Lobos won the game 31-24.

🔼 Morning Chat. A familiar face joined KOB 4’s morning show this week! Coach Gonzales stopped by their studio to bring awareness to Pumped New Mexico. Pumped New Mexico is an organization that helps families afford insulin pumps for children with diabetes.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Extraordinary Lobos. Today is the day! Coach Danny Gonzales and the New Mexico football team are hosting the Extraordinary Lobos Day Camp today from noon to 2:00pm. This day camp is free for people of all ages with a disability, everyone is welcome to bring a buddy or a sibling. You can register here if you haven’t already, or register on site.
