📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Thrilling Tuesday. The men’s basketball team got a big 83-82 win at Nevada last night after going down to the wire. The Lobos led most of the way, but the Wolf Pack attempted a comeback. Nevada took the lead with under a minute remaining, but it was shut down by a Jamal Mashburn Jr. three-pointer with under 25 seconds on the clock. He led the Lobos with 17 points and went a perfect 3-for-3 beyond the arc. Jaelen House, Mustapha Amzil, JT Toppin, and Nelly Junior Joseph also scored in double figures.

🔼 Habtom Hauls Them In. For the third time this indoor season, Habtom Samuel was named the Mountain West Track Athlete and Freshman of the Week. He ran the 12th-fastest 3,000m time in NCAA history at the Valentine Invitational over the weekend. He defeated a pair of pros and won the men’s 3k. The team will head back to Boston this weekend for the Terrier DMR Challenge.

🔼 Trip To Texas. The Lobo softball is headed to Texas for seven games this week, starting today. They’ll play a double header at UTEP starting at 2 pm this afternoon. You can stream both games on ESPN+. Afterwards, they’ll head to Abilene Christian for their weekend tournament.

🔼 Bears In The Air. The women’s basketball team has just one game this week, and it’s tonight at The Pit! They’ll host San José State at 7 pm, a team they beat just a few weeks ago. There will be a Teddy Bear Toss at halftime in partnership with UNM BeKind. Bring a new stuffed animal and toss it onto the court to donate to a child in need! Spending your Valentine’s Day at The Pit sounds like the perfect date!
