Lobos Brew 9/22: MBB Announces Game against Washington State
The men's basketball team announced a home-and-home exhibition series against Washington State.
Good morning, New Mexico. A new men’s basketball game has been announced! The Lobos will have a home-and-home exhibition series against Washington State. This season, the men will travel to Washington to play on Oct. 25. Next season, New Mexico will host the Cougars.

🔺 Title Won. The men’s golf team hosted the 70th annual William H. Tucker Invitational. The Lobos finished in second place as a team with a score of 846 (-18). Emil Albers won the individual title after finishing in first place with a score of 203 (-13). He becomes just the second freshman in the 70-year history of the Tucker to win, joining Stanford’s Tiger Woods in 1994.
🔺 Welcome! The swim and dive team welcomes Thomas Colket to its staff. Colket was recently the men’s swimming assistant coach at SMU. He will now be an assistant swimming coach for the Lobos.
