🔺 Fresh Moves. Men’s basketball player Tomislav Buljan the Old Trapper Mountain West Freshman of the Week. This marks the first honor of his career and for Lobos this season. Buljan averaged 15 points and 14 rebounds per game against Nebraska and Mississippi State last week. She shot 64.7% from the floor and 66.7% behind the arc.

🔺 Special Man. Kicker Luke Drzewiecki was named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week. Drzewiecki scored eight points in UNM’s 20-3 win at Air Force. He connected on field goals of 27 and 23 yards. He moves into second in school history in career field goals made with 47.

🔺 Postseason Honor. Women’s volleyball player Camila Canedo was named to the All-Mountain West Honorable Mention. Canedo led the league in both total digs (485) and digs per set (4.33), leading the Lobos in that category in 25 of their 29 matches. Her 485 digs in total are the seventh-most in a single season in UNM history and sixth-most in the rally scoring era.
