🔺 Defense. The Mountain West Conference named Camila Canedo the Defensive Player of the Week for volleyball. Canedo led the league in digs last week with a career-high 30-dig performance. In two matches last week, Canedo had a total of 46 digs and 5.11 digs per set.

🔺 Fast Feet. The USTFCCCA named Habtom Samuel the National Athlete of the Week. Samuel led the men to a team title with an individual win and a new meet record in the biggest regular-season meet of the year. He had a 22:58.0 time in his season debut at the Nuttycombe. Samuel is ranked among the Top 30 in the most recent national USTFCCA polls.

🔺 Wrapped Up. The women’s golf team finished 12th at the Jim West Challenge. The team finished 33 over par. Ava Cepeda led the Lobos, finishing five over par. She tied for 30th individually.
