🔺 Victory! The women’s soccer team beat GCU 4-1 on Thursday night. Kennedy Brown, Alysa Whelchel, Nicole Anderson and Mercedes Morris scored for the Lobos. It was almost a shutout game, but GCU scored with two minutes to spare. New Mexico tallied 19 shots, and 13 were on goal. Goalkeeper Alyson Campbell made five saves.

🔺 Ranked! The cross country teams have jumped up in the USTFCCCA week 3 polls. The men are No. 3 and the women are No. 5. In the FloTrack rankings, the men are No. 2 and the women are No. 6 in the nation. Habtom Samuel is ranked No. 1 among the nation’s individual men. Pamela Kosgei is ranked No. 2 for women’s individuals.

🔺 Match Play. The men’s and women’s golf teams concluded the NB3 Matchplay at Twin Warriors on Wednesday. The women had a 3-2 victory over rival New Mexico State. They finished third overall at the event with four points. The men also had a 3-2 victory over New Mexico State. They finished the event in second place with eight points.
🔺 Four Sets. The volleyball team fell to San Diego State 3-1 on Thursday. The Lobos tallied 40 kills and 11 blocks. Lauryn Payne led the Lobos with 16 kills and recorded 11 digs for a double-double. Addison France also had a double-double with 11 kills and 10 assists.
