🔺 Starting Strong. The men’s basketball team began its run in the 2026 NIT on Wednesday night with a 107-83 win over Sam Houston in the opening round. Tomislav Buljan led the team with 22 points and 10 rebounds for his 16th double-double of the season. Uriah Tenette scored a career high 20 points. Jake Hall scored 14 points and set the UNM single-season 3-point record. He made four to give him 109 on the season. The men advance to play George Washington on Sunday at 6pm MT.

🔺 Top 10. The women’s golf team finished 10th at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. The Lobos shot 20-over during the final 18 holes to finish the tournament in 10th place at 47-over. Ava Cepeda was the top finisher for the Lobos, tying for 27th individually.
