📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Back-To-Back. Arda Azkarda picked up his second straight Mountain West Player of the Week honor for men’s tennis. He went 4-0 last week, including 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles. The Lobos beat San Diego State and UNLV throughout the week.

🔼  New Kid On The Block. The Lobos women’s basketball team signed Nahawa Diarra Berthe from Barcelona yesterday. The 5’9 guard started in every game last season for Odessa College and averaged 10.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. Men’s basketball picked up Mustapha Amzil from Dayton. The 6’9 forward is from Finland and arrives with two years of eligibility. He was second on the team in 3-pointers and averaged 9.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

🔼  On The Road, Again. The Lobos wrap up their five-game road trip tonight at Arizona. The Wildcats are coming off a sweep of Utah as they sit 22-15. New Mexico’s Reed Spenrath had the weekend of his career, hitting three home runs in just one day. This is due to be a great offensive matchup as both teams are hitting above .320 and have a one home run difference.

Learn From The Champs. The Mountain West Champion women’s golf team is hosting a free golf clinic for women on Saturday, April 29. The clinic runs from 9am-12pm and no registration is required. Women of all ages will receive lessons and tips from the Lobos staff and team.
