🔺 Milestone Win. The women's basketball team beat Utah State 69-54 on Wednesday. This marked the team’s 19th consecutive win over Utah State in the series. It also marked win No. 20 for the season. This is the fourth time in the last five years that the Lobos have reached at least 20 wins in a season. This was head coach Mike Bradbury's 200th win at UNM as well.

🔺 New Opponent. The Mountain West football opponent matrix has been updated! North Dakota State football joined the MW. The Lobos will now hose the Bison of NDSU instead of NIU.

🔺 Huge Award. Swim and dive athlete Alice English earned an All-Mountain West honor. This is her second time earning the honor. She recently finished sixth in the 1-meter dive at the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships.

🔺 Weekly Honor. The Mountain West Conference named Vianca Corley the Freshman of the Week. Corley went 3-0 this past weekend. She led the Lobos to a sweep of New Mexico State and Northern Arizona.

🔺 Day 1. The track and field team started competition at the Mountain West Indoor Championship. Habtom Samuel and Pamela Kosgei swept the men’s and women’s 5,000m titles with new meet records. The men’s and women’s distance medley relay finished first.
