🔺 Multiple Advance. The track and field team had a strong day one at the Mountain West Outdoor Championship. Kylie Feeney, Jasmine Wood and Li-Mari Dekker advanced in the women’s 800m. Matthew Endrody advanced in the men’s 800m. Taniya Looney recorded the first sub-23 performance in program history in the 200m. Tina Nisoli won the 10,000m.

🔺 New Staff. The volleyball team welcomes Patrick Sullivan as a new associate head coach. Sullivan has experience coaching at Bradley University, the University of Northern Iowa, Long Beach State and Golden West College. In addition to collegiate coaching, Coach Sullivan has extensive experience in club and developmental volleyball. As the founder and director of Stealth Volleyball, he established and led a competitive club program that successfully placed athletes at the collegiate level across NCAA divisions.

🔺 Conference Honors. Women’s golfer Ava Cepeda was named to the 2025-26 All-Mountain West Second Team. Cepeda, ranked in the top 300 of the individual rankings, led the Lobos with a 73.64 stroke average this season. She had a team-best nine rounds of par or better and was UNM’s top individual finisher in six of 10 events this season.
