🔼 Rivalry Renewed. The Rio Grande Rivalry series will be back this 2023-2024 men’s basketball season. The Lobos will host New Mexico State at The Pit and they will also travel to Las Cruces sometime this season.

🏀 The Lobos are also expected to host UC Santa Barbara in the non-conference schedule.

🔼 Take Me Out To The Ball Game. Are you a Lobo living in Colorado? If so, we have some great news for you! The UNM Denver Alumni Chapter is hosting a UNM Night at the Colorado Rockies vs. Oakland A’s game at Coors Field on July 29. Tickets are just $32 each when you purchase here and alumni will sit in Section 144.

🔼 Off The Line. There are 51 days until we kickoff the 2023 football season at Texas A&M on September 2. Today, we’re highlighting our defensive end, No. 51 — Bryce Santana! The red-shirt junior played in all 12 games last season, starting the last five at nose tackle. He recorded 24 tackles, 3 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup. He made six tackles against Utah State, a career-high. He had a huge game against LSU when he sacked quarterback Jayden Daniels, had four tackle, and forced a fumble. Bryce is from Los Lunas High School and is majoring in engineering.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

The Bigger Picture. The Enchantment TBT team features some of New Mexico’s greatest. This is their third season, and they’ve decided to dedicate it to JB White. He was a basketball player from Santa Fe High School who was days away from reporting to the University of New Mexico. The team will be hosting a fundraiser exhibition game on Sunday at Bosque High School to help fund the teams travel to the tournament in Lubbock.
