📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Offensive Explosions. Runs and hits were apparent in this weekend’s baseball series against Hofstra! The Lobos scored 44 runs and split the weekend. They got their first win of the weekend on Saturday with an 11-7 dub in a seven-inning game. They hit four home runs in the win, thanks to Jake Holland, Ethan Ott, and Tye Wood. Jake and Tye hit another homer each on Sunday in the 9-6 Lobo win.

🔼 Lobo Split. The Lobo softball team spent the weekend in Arizona at Grand Canyon, where they split the Purple Classic. They fell to Pacific in game one before bouncing back to beat Montana. Keyannah Chavez hit a homer to tie the game before Chloe Yeatts recorded her fourth-straight hit to score Rachel Hathoot for the win. Day two started with a 5-1 win over Toledo, before a loss to the host team, GCU. McKenna Guest threw her fifth complete game of the year in the win.

🔼  Welcome To The Show. The women’s golf team is headed to Las Vegas for The Show at Spanish Trail this week. They’ll play two rounds today and the final round tomorrow. All 12 schools in the tournament are ranked in the top 100, seven of them are in the top 40. The Lobo lineup will include Lauren Lehigh, Annie Saechueng, Maria Caparros Levin, Lisa-Marie Pagliano, and the defending champion of this tournament - Myah McDonald. Ciara Rushmer is also competing in the event as an individual.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Albert Boneta was named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week last week! He posted his third top-10 finish of the season at the Southern Highlands Collegiate. His honor marks the fourth of the year for the Lobo men’s golf team. The Lobos will kick off the Lamkin Invitational this morning.
