🔼 On Holiday. The Lobo men’s basketball team will play in the 2024 Acrisure Classic in Palm Springs, California! New Mexico will play Arizona State on Thanksgiving, November 28, at 9:30 pm MT. They’ll then play either USC or Saint Mary’s on Friday. The tournament will air on TNT Sports. Tickets will go on sale June 7 at 11 am at acrisurearena.com.

🔼 Pro ‘Bo. Former Lobo men’s golfer Victor Perez had a successful weekend on the PGA Tour! He finished this weekend’s RBC Canadian Open in third-place at 14-under.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

We’re 81 days away from football season! Three Lobos were taken in the 1981 NFL Draft. Quarterback Brad Wright was drafted in the fourth round by the Miami Dolphins. He was the first Lobo to throw for over 400 yards. Wide receiver Ricky Martin was taken in the fifth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Linebacker Bob Shupryt was a 12th round pick by the Chicago Bears.
