🔺 Preseason Praise. For the first time since 2015, both men’s and women’s cross country teams enter the season ranked in the Top 20! The men’s team came in at No. 8, their highest preseason rank in program history. The women’s team will start the season ranked No. 20, this is the 11th-straight season they have been ranked in the preseason poll.

🔺 Scoop ‘N Score. This week’s Defensive Play of the Game presented by Lerner & Rowe is Christian Ellis’ scoop and score in the first quarter! It was the first defensive touchdown by a Lobo since 2021. The last time the Lobos opened the season with a defensive score was 2013.

🔺 Don’t Pass Up. Lobo volleyball kicks off the season at home this weekend as they host the Lobo Invitational! They’ll play three matches against Tulane, North Dakota, and UC Irvine. Lobo fans can get into all three matches for a lower price with the tournament pass! Click here to purchase.
