🔺 Rich Legacy. Former New Mexico head baseball coach Rich Alday is in the ABCA Hall of Fame Class of 2025! He coached the Lobos from 1990-2007 and remains the winningest coach in Lobo baseball history with 515 victories. He won two WAC Coach of the Year honors and one in the Mountain West. Coach Alday passed away in 2021, but his legacy remains in the Lobo program.
🔺 Dive Into The Books. Two Lobos from the swim & dive team were named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans! Alice English and Kristen Hepfer received second team honors. Both qualified for NCAA Diving Zones last season and held a 3.5 or higher GPA.
🔺 Update Required. No, not on the device you’re reading this email on. The New Mexico outdoor track & field record books had to be updated at the end of the season! Habtom Samuel, Elizabeth White, and Maja Gebauer took No. 1 spots in different events. Take a look at the success this season above!
