🔺 Wrapped Up. The track and field athletes finished competing at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. On Friday, Habtom Samuel competed in his final collegiate race of the 2025-26 season. He took first in the 5000m. This marked his fourth collegiate title and second individual title at the event. He became just the 15th man to complete the 5K/10K double in collegiate history, the first man to win both the 5,000 meter and 10,000 meter finals at the same outdoor championships since 2023. The Lobo men conclude the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships in 14th place in the men’s team score. On Saturday, Marion Jepngetich won her first NCAA championship in the 5000m. Pamela Kosgei took fifth place. The women finished tied for 12th with 22 points with Kosgei accounting for 12 of the points.
