🔼 Lucky Number Seven. The Lobos are looking for their seventh-straight win as they host UC Santa Barbara tonight at 7pm. This will be the end of the Lobos three-game homestand as they will head back to Las Vegas for the Jack Jones Classic on Saturday. They’re coming off of a huge rivalry win over New Mexico State. The Lobos are trying to get into the holiday spirit by scheduling two teams with “Santa” in their names! Hear Coach Pitino’s explanation on that.

🔼  By The Numbers. The Lobo basketball teams are making noise in the NCAA.

• Donovan Dent is the only Division I player this season with two games of 10+ assists and zero turnovers.

• Saturday’s crowd of 15,435 was the largest crowd at The Pit since 2009

• The women’s team is 29th in the NCAA in rebounds per game (43.9)

• Charlotte Kohl is 11th in the NCAA in offensive rebounds per game (4.4) and rebounds (89). She’s 30th in rebounds per game (9.9).

• She’s the first Lobo since Carol Moreland in 1978 to have multiple 20 rebound games in a season. She’s also one of three DI players to have two 20 rebound games this season.

🔼  Officially Official. Former Lobo wide receiver Terance Mathis was officially inducted into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame yesterday!
