🔼 Strong Start To Spring. The men’s golf team had a record-setting performance and got the win at the National Invitational Tournament. They shot a New Mexico record 51-under over a field of 11 teams in the top-60. Bastien Amat led the Lobos, shooting 66-67-67 and tied for third-place overall. Carson Herron also recorded a top-10 finish and No. 9. They’ll be back on the course February 15-17 at the John Burns Intercollegiate in Hawaii.

🔼 Have Mercy. This week’s Mountain West Women’s Track Athlete and Freshman of the Week award goes to our very own Mercy Kirarei! She ran the fastest 3,000m time in the conference and 17th-best in the country on Friday. Her time ranks No. 5 on the UNM all-time indoor list.

🔼 Seize The Day. The women’s basketball team is playing a midday, midweek game at San José State today. The Lobos are chasing their fifth-straight win and seventh conference win. The Spartans sit 1-6 in Mountain West play. Tip-off in San José is at noon and will be available to watch on the Mountain West Network. Perfect plan for your lunch break!
