🔼 Another One. To us, it’s no surprise that Aniyah Augmon was named the Mountain West Player of the Week! She had a huge game on Saturday, tying her career-high of 22 points and grabbing a career-high 16 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. She’s averaging 15.6 points per game against conference opponents. She also leads the conference with 27 steals. The women’s basketball team will be back in action tomorrow night, as they host San José State.

🔼  Let’s Take A Trip. The men’s basketball team starts their two-game road trip tonight at Nevada. The Lobos have already defeated the Wolf Pack once, handing them their worst loss of the season just a few weeks ago. Despite the fact that the Lobos already have a win, Nevada is coming off a week where they beat No. 22 Utah State and No. 24 San Diego State. New Mexico has won their last three road games by double digits. Tip-off is at 9 pm on CBS Sports Network.

🔼 Shut ‘Em Down. On Super Bowl Sunday, the men’s tennis team took down Utah and Western New Mexico to push their win-streak to four. The Lobos beat Western New Mexico 7-0, a fitting number for a match played during the Super Bowl. They’re now 5-2 overall as they get ready for a weekend full of matches at Wichita State and against UTSA.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Former Lobo track star Josh Kerr set a World Record over the weekend! He ran a 8:00.67 2-mile at the Millrose Games. Hear what Josh had to say about his accomplishment.
