🔺 Series Sweep. The softball team secured the series win against Boise State in a 9-2 win on Friday. Miracle McKenzie hit a grand slam in the eighth inning. The Lobos totaled 13 hits. This marked the first time UNM has won consecutive games against BSU since 2016. The women secure the series sweep with a 6-2 win on Saturday. Jessica DeLeon hit a three-RBI double. Allie Williams and Gabrielle Briones also hit RBI doubles.

🔺 Secured the Dub. The baseball team came back to beat UNLV on Friday in a 7-6 win. Karsen Waslefsky led the team with two hits and two runs. Cooper Corkrean earned the win on the mound after striking out five batters. The men won on Saturday 12-2 to win the series. Brodey Williams led the team going 3-for-5 at the plate. He had three RBIs and Akili Carris had four RBIs.

🔺 Making History. The track and field team competed at the Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Classic. On day one, Pamela Kosgei ran the second-fastest 10k in collegiate history. Habtom Samuel recorded the nation’s leading 10k time. UNM athletes recorded 10 new personal bests. On day two, Matthew Endrödy ran the sixth-fastest outdoor 800m in program history.

🔺 Rivalry Win. The men’s tennis team beat NMSU 4-2 on Saturday. Dario Ciobotaru got a second-set tiebreaker win at No. 1 singles. The Lobos won the doubles point and three singles matches.
