🔼 Nike’d Up. Join in on the women’s basketball summer fun with this episode of Nike’d Up! Assistant coach Nike McClure got the mic during practice and shared her energy and wisdom. She’s entering her third season with the Lobos, second as an assistant coach, after starting as the director of player development. Nike spent her college career at New Mexico, where she was named to the Mountain West All-Defensive Team in the 2018-2019 season. After college, she played in Portugal for CAB Madeira and the Anorthosis Basketball Club.

🔼 Softball Scholars. Six New Mexico softball players were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. Maddie Boldt, Samantha Fohrman, Amber Linton, Grace Rana, Peyton Robinson, and Jenna Trim were recognized for having a 3.50 or higher GPA for the 2022-2023 academic year. The team ended the spring semester with a 3.48 GPA, they’ve had 26 straight semesters with a 3.20 or better.

🔼 Team Of Honor. The volleyball team earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award for the fourth year in-a-row and the eighth time in the last nine years! They also earned the Honor Roll, one of two Mountain West schools to earn the recognition. The team finished with a 3.70 and a 3.73 GPA in each semester. The 2023 season will kick off with an exhibition match against New Mexico Highlands.
