🔼 Teeing For A Trophy. It’s NCAA Championship time for the No. 23 New Mexico men’s golf team! The Lobos tee off at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California today. They’ll play three rounds of stroke play through Sunday. The top 15 teams will play the final round of stroke play on Monday. Then, the top eight teams will advance to match play. The Lobo lineup will feature Bastien Amat, Albert Boneta, Matthew Watkins, Carson Herron, and Connor Adams.

🔼  On To The Next. The first game of the Mountain West Baseball Tournament did not go the Lobos way, but that’s why we play more than one. Three home runs were not enough, as the Lobos fell 8-5 to San José State. Konner Kinkade hit a three-run homer before Jake Holland hit his 17th bomb of the year. Later on, Josh McAlister hit a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth. The Lobos will play No. 4 Fresno State today at 2:30 pm with the season on the line.

🔼 Big Four. Four Lobos brought home All-Conference baseball honors, plus Jake Holland was named Mountain West Co-Player of the Year! He becomes the first Lobo to earn the honor since 2017. Reed Spenrath and Will Asby join him on the All-Mountain West First Team. Khalil Walker earned Second Team honors. Reed becomes the first Lobo to earn back-to-back First Team honors since 2017-18.

🔼 Day Two’s Views. Members of the women’s track & field squad competed yesterday at the NCAA West Preliminary. Klara Dess finished 10th in the second heat of the 1500m. Elizabeth White and Lauren Fowler finished the ling jump in 20th and 29th. Nicola Jansen finished 35th in the 10K semifinals. The men’s team will compete again today.
