🔼  Top Of The Mountain. For the ninth time this season, JT Toppin is the Mountain West Freshman of the Week! He was a star in Saturday’s game at Boise State, scoring 21 points with eight rebounds and three blocks. His ninth honor ties the record for most Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors in a season.

🔼  T-Shirt Time. Lobo baseball is hosting No. 17 Texas Tech today at 2 pm! The first 100 fans will get free t-shirts! This will be the last non-conference game for the Lobos before they host UNLV this weekend. The Red Raiders are 9-2 and nationally ranked this week, they’ll be the second ranked opponent New Mexico has faced this season.

🔼 Finale In Fresno. The women’s basketball team will wrap up the regular season tonight at Fresno State. New Mexico is 20-10 on the season, while the Bulldogs are 14-16. The Lobos are tied with Wyoming for second in the Mountain West standings. Tip-off is set for 7 pm on the Mountain West Network.

🔼  Has It All. Men’s golfer Bastien Amat was named to the spring watch list for the 2023-24 Fred Haskins Award! He’s one of 15 players on the list for the award given to the nation’s top men’s golfer. Bastien is currently ranked No. 11 in the national individual rankings and has two wins so far this season.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Former Lobo Josh Kerr continues to shine on the world stage! He was already an outdoor World Champion in the 1500m, but now he’s added an indoor 3000m gold medal to the trophy case! He’s the first Scot to win gold in an indoor world championship in 31 years.
