🔼 Movin’ On Up. Men’s basketball head coach Richard Pitino has promoted Isaac Chew to associate head coach! Coach Chew has been on the Lobo staff for the last three years as an assistant coach. He’s been with Coach Pitino since day one and he said Coach Chew, “has been instrumental in this rebuild.” The Lobos have improved each year he’s been on staff, including this year’s trip to March Madness.

🔼  Headin’ Back To Cali. The Lobo track & field teams are splitting up this weekend, competing at two meets in California. The action will start this morning as the sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, and vaulters kick things off in Long Beach at the Beach Invitational. A few hours later, Sophia McDonnell and Hanna Bruckmayer will compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa. Click here to find out how to watch!

🔼  Top Of The Track. The track & field squads cracked the top 35 in multiple categories of the #EventSquad rankings this week! The men’s 10K team stayed at the top of the leaderboard at No. 1. The women’s 1500m group came in at No. 9, while the men’s landed at No. 14. The men’s team is ranked No. 37 overall. These are the rankings they’ll carry going into the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Beach Invitational this weekend.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Catch some Minor League Baseball and see Coach Bronco Mendenhall show off his pitching skills, all in one place! The Lobo football head coach will be throwing the first pitch tonight at the Isotopes game at 6:20 pm.
