🔼 Tru That. For the third straight week, a Lobo was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week! This time, Tru Washington earned the honor — JT Toppin has received the other two. Tru averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game in last week’s wins over Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State. In the win over the Aggies, he set career-highs with 21 points and six assists. He went 3-for-4 from the three-point line and set career highs from the free throw line, going 8-for-10. Tru has scored in double figures in each of the last four games.

🔼  Charlotte’s Web Board. The women’s basketball team got a big win over Mississippi Valley State last night, 68-45. Charlotte Kohl had a huge night, scoring a career-high 16 points and five blocks. She also recorded a second-straight double-double and another 20 rebound game. She becomes one of three DI players with two 20-rebound games this season. Paula Reus also had 16 points with eight rebounds. Nyah Wilson added 14 points to round out the double-digit Lobos. They’ll be back in action on Thursday at 7pm as they host Southern Utah.

🔼  Hall Of Famer. Former Lobo Terance Mathis will be honored as a new member of the College Football Hall of Fame! He’ll be honored during an Awards Press Conference on ESPN+ today at 10am MT. Click here to tune in!

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Jacory Croskey-Merritt was named a 2023 College Football News All-American Honorable Mention! He had one of the best seasons in school history for a running back. He rushed for 1,190 yards, seventh-most in school history. Jacory finished the season with 17 rushing touchdowns, third all-time, and 18 overall touchdowns, second all-time. He’s the first offensive player to receive such an honor since 2003.
