📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Victory! The women’s soccer team beat Wyoming 1-0 on Thursday night. Alejandra Puerto scored the game-winning goal in the first half. The Lobos had five shots, and two were on goal. Goalkeeper Alyson Campbell had six saves.

🔺 Preseason Honors. The basketball program got its Mountain West preseason honors. The women’s basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the conference. Destinee Hooks was selected to the Preseason All-Mountain West Team. The men’s basketball team was also picked to finish fifth in the conference. Deyton Albury was selected to the Preseason All-Mountain West Team.

🔺 Double Threat. The cross country team had two athletes earn Mountain West weekly honors. Habtom Samuel was named the Men’s Athlete of the Week. Marion Jepngetich was named the Women’s Freshman of the Week. Samuel holds two meet records so far this season. Jepngetich ran a new collegiate best and finished 16th at the Nuttycombe Invitational.
