🔼 In The Win Column. From the tailgate to the final second, it was a fun Saturday for the Lobos! New Mexico got the 56-10 win over Tennessee Tech in dominating fashion. Dylan Hopkins tied for the second-most touchdown passes in a game in school history. The quarterback threw for 273 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jacory Croskey-Merritt had a career day with 162 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Lobos put up 587 yards of offense with 6 different players scoring. Fans showed up and showed out, bringing in the best attendance for a home opener since 2018.

🔼 Let’s Get It Started. The women’s golf team is getting the season started today as they host the 45th annual Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational at UNM Championship Course. Two rounds will be played today and the final round will be tomorrow. The Lobo lineup features Lauren Lehigh, Myah McDonald, Lisa-Marie Pagliano, Annie Saechueng, and Maria Caparros Levin. Ciara Rushmer, Rebecca Galasso, and Sophia Zamarripa are competing individually.

🔼 Sweep Victory. The Lobo volleyball team swept Green Bay in the UND Classic finale on Saturday. They served 7 aces and Angela Crosetti led the way again with 18 digs. The team is celebrating their third-straight winning weekend in tournament action. They’ll finish the non-conference portion of the schedule with two matches against Northern Arizona later this week.

🔼 Our State. The Lobos took down New Mexico State 3-1 in a big match yesterday. The Aggies took the early lead but that’s all they could get. Mercedes Morris scored the first Lobo goal to tie it up. Presley Devey gave the Lobos the lead and Myah Isais sealed the deal with the third goal. Alli Davis logged her 100th career save.
