📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Weekend Workload. New Mexico baseball has a jam packed Senior Weekend ahead with a four-game series against Nevada. Today holds a double header with two more games across Saturday and Sunday. We’ll celebrate the 14 seniors on Sunday before first pitch. The Lobos took the first two games from Nevada earlier in the season. New Mexico continues to lead the NCAA in hitting for the second straight week with a .338 team batting average.

🔼 He’s Not Leavin’. Coach Mike Bradbury has earned a five year contract extension as the women’s basketball head coach! He’s led the Lobos for seven years with a 141-78 record. In 2021-22 the Lobos tied the program record for wins with 26. New Mexico has been to the postseason five times in his seven years. We’d say he’s doing a pretty good job!

🔼  Keep ‘Em Coming. Lobos are bringing in even more All-Conference awards with two men’s golfers bringing home the honors. Albert Boneta and Bastien Amat were named All-Conference for the second time in their careers—Albert Boneta has a stroke average of 70.31 this season and Bastien Amat a 70.67.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Watch Out. Lobo baseball’s Jake Holland was named to the Buster Posey Award watch list. The award honors the top collegiate catcher voted on by head coaches and sports information directors. Semifinalists will be named May 22.
