🎥 MEET THE FRESHMEN

Meet The Freshmen. Today, we’re introducing you to soccer freshman Fiona Jenkins. She’s a defender from Fort Collins, Colorado. She won State Cup MVP honors, a Character Athlete award, and received Academic All-State recognition. She also won a 2022 ECNL National Championship with Real Colorado. You may find out her hobbies and favorite hype song in the video!

🔼 Thanks For The Invite. The Lobo volleyball team went 2-1 at the UC Irvine Invitational over the weekend. They went 2-0 on Friday, getting wins over UC Irvine and Seton Hall. Uxue Guereca had a career-high in digs and recorded a double-double with 20-kills and 20-digs against UCI. Kali Wolf served three of six aces against Seton Hall. They fell to San Francisco on Saturday, where Uxue recorded another double-double and led the team in kills. She and Athina Dimitriadis were so good this weekend, they made the UCI All-Tournament Team. Athina had 25 kills and 4 aces.

🔼 Back On The Bench. Former Lobo Jaisa Nunn has rejoined the women’s basketball program, but this time as a graduate assistant. She’s reuniting with her former teammate and current assistant, Nike McClure. Jaisa played for the Lobos from 2015-19 and led the team in scoring in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. She set the program record for most points in a conference season with 330 in 2017-18. She was also named Mountain West Player of the Year in the 2018-19 season. After her college career, Jaisa played overseas in Spain, Italy, and France.

🔼 Toyed With The Titans. The soccer team took down Cal State Fullerton thanks to Margaux Clarke’s big assist and winning goal. Skye McMillon scored the first goal of the game in the 27th minute. The Lobos haven’t been defeated in 11 matches, tying the program record. They’ll hit the road for their first away match on Thursday at San Diego.
