🔺 Won The Weekend. Lobo volleyball finished their weekend in Houston 3-0. They were named the Molly Howard-Gerwig Memorial Tournament Champions after defeating Kansas City, Howard, and Houston Christian. Jada Bouyer was named Tournament MVP with Falanika Danielson and Kialah Jefferson joining her on the All-Tournament Team.

🔺 Better Late Than Never. Lobo soccer beat UTEP in the last minute, literally, yesterday! The Miners scored first, but the Lobos scored in the 84th and 89th minute to get the 2-1 win. Nicole Anderson scored the first Lobo goal, assisted by Ellie Robinson. Robinson turned around to score her own goal with 1:09 left to play. The Lobos finish their five-match homestand with four wins and a tie to move to 4-1-1 on the season.

🔺 Tourney Time. The women’s golf team opens the season at home today! They’ll host the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, presented by Margaret Moses Branch and Annette Arrigoni. The Lobos host BYU, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Chattanooga, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Kennesaw State, Long Beach State, Nevada, NAU, Pepperdine, Texas State, UNLV, and UTEP. They’ll play two rounds today and the final round tomorrow. The Lobo lineup features Maria Garcia, Ciara Rushmer, Chelsea Truong, Maria Caparris Levin, and Rebecca Galasso. Annie Saecheung, Lisa-Marie Pagliano, and Sophia Zamarripa will compete individually.
